Van Der Rohe's design for Meredith Hall at my alma mater, Drake University. It's got a whole bunch of microwave communication dishes on top of it today and Van Der Rohe would never have allowed that.
It’s Mies Van Der Rohe’s 126th birthday today and, since less is more, that is all.

Matthew Inman of ‘The Oatmeal’ and Sarah Donner of a place I can only assume is known to locals as “AWESOME TOWN” did this little gem of a video. I’m thinking about quitting the funny business because it is so great. Also, I haven’t made one red cent.
